Our mission

Make world-class financial education available to anyone, anywhere.

Why Wall Street Notes exists

The CFA® is finance's gold standard, and many of the people who want to pursue it don't. That drop-off has little to do with the finance itself. With prep priced so high that only employers could cover it, a study plan requiring 300 hours of free time, and a curriculum that assumed a finance background and native-level English, success depended as much on circumstance as on ability. None of these factors measured a candidate's ability to pass. They measured who could get to the starting line.

Wall Street Notes was created to level that field by making financial education accessible, clear and memorable. At a fraction of what the industry charges, it fits around a full-time job schedule and teaches step by step in five subtitled languages, assuming no finance background. The exam is just as hard. Preparing for it isn’t.

Today finance professionals, college students and self-taught candidates across 98 countries use the Wall Street Notes platform to further their careers in finance. The only requirement now is wanting to learn. CFA® Level 1 is where we started. It isn't where we intend to stop.
